Ferris Mower Prices
Trying to find prices for Ferris mowers can be challenging. I’ve looked at several sites that say they are affiliates for Ferris mowers and carry Ferris mowers, but when I searched their sites there were no results.
The only place I’ve found online that is easy to use to get prices is eBay. eBay carries a pretty good selection of new and used Ferris lawn mowers and the prices are very broad, so it pays to compare models, benefits and condition of used mowers to their closest new models. eBay also carries new and demo models, but not all the time.
To find a local dealer go to the Ferris Industries website and click on “dealer locator”. Fill out the form and someone will get in contact with you. Once you find some local dealers I would call at least two or go in and visit to get pricing and information. Then get online and see what eBay has to offer.

Very disappointed with Ferris. I have a3000 with 700 hours and have experienced a catastrophic failur of the left drive system. I verified that there is no listed maintenance and dealer,factory and distributor rep indicate that it is not surprising. I have used other manufactures in the 40 years I have been in business and never had this level of failure. The factory has declined to offer any help. I pointed out that this is less than 1 years use if running 30 plus hours a week in commercial operation. I have purchased 3 DD walkbehinds and have two 3000 IS. I am questioning the wisdom of using Ferris as a 1st choice for business.
Wow Edd, I’m really sorry to hear this and glad for you comment. This site is just as much about the bad points of Ferris mowers as the good points. I hope to educate my readers. I’m not loyal to any manufacturer. I write other sites about others brands.
So far, from comments and talking with local professionals, I’m finding that Scag is heading toward the top of mower brands, but not way ahead of them. There are many good brands out there. I haven’t seen a Ferris mower in the last few years that I’ve been doing unscientific surveys of just looking around when I’m out driving. I see a lot of other brands, mostly Scag, but I haven’t seen a Ferris in at least a few years.
I would call back the manufacturer and speak to a manager and refuse to be put off until you get some answers and some help. Sometimes phone support will just say no and if you don’t insist, you go away and save them work. They get paid whether you get help or not. Also, contact your sales person and discuss your problem with them and be polite but very firm. Make sure you mention you will be switching brands if this is how Ferris services its customers. In this economy, they need to be responsive.

A commercial mower is a huge purchase. We don’t make them lightly and we will not be loyal to brands that leave us in the tall weeds.
